These guys will do this pre and post session to loosen up, but much more extensively post session. Keeping muscles loose and supple is necessary for them to maximize their explosive potential. Stiff tissue is like jerky and loses its ability function optimally – not to mention the athlete will start to lose mobility rather quickly.

Recovery is just as importance and relevant as training. Imbalance on either side of the coin and performance will suffer. Recovery isn’t just rated as physical recovery. Mental and emotional well being should be taken into consideration as well.
