One of the thing I like to do during my seminars is continue to coach whoever wants to hang out through lunch and catch some practice myself.
Being that the legs get beat up from standing all day, I usually end up doing some form of power movement to keep the rhythm and feel connected to the bar.
If you are having trouble connecting the bar to and through the power position (at the hips), one of my favorite things to do is practice from above the knees. I usually start with triples and continue to build my way towards a heavy single until I feel I am at the limits of my technique and stop.
And then every now and then, if things are on par, you hit a PR like this one here at 183lbs/83kg. I’ll take it!
