Movement timing dictates the efficiency of the lift. A well timed lift allows for better power transfer to the bar during the second pull. Starting with hang power snatches/cleans allows the athletes to feel this connection first before lengthening/building the lift out from that starting point.

Today I jumped on Skype and trained with @iamjwjw and the crew from @pushmorecrossfit in Malaysia. First week back to training after taking a month off in December. Legs still feel weak AF, but the focus for now is to feel the bar and finding the timing again.
