The low back is arguably the weakest link in the body. Responsible for not only positional and support strength but also to aid the body during extension. Needless to say, if the back fatigues, the whole system becomes compromised. Because of this, low back isometrics is a staple in training. It’s like taking your vitamins, insurance towards a healthy back and better lifting. These kids were holding it upwards of a minute for 3 sets post practice.
